Super entertainment

We have an activities coordinator who is responsible for arranging a monthly programme of events to keep our residents entertained, active and stimulated.  Activities are varied and include;

Visiting musicians performing music from the 40s onwards
Visiting animals for residents to interact with
Visits from local school children, who enjoy interacting and playing board games with our residents
Memory stimulation games such as trivia quizzes, memory box sessions, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, giant scrabble and card games
Croquet and Boules on the lawn
Visiting guest speakers 

Occasional trips out to local attractions or the village pub

Holy Communion and spiritual journey sessions with the local vicar

Our annual garden party is the highlight of the year at Millbrook House and is always well attended and supported by residents, their families and friends.

Christmas is always a particularly special time at Millbrook House. We encourage family and friends to visit as much as possible and to join us for Christmas lunch.  Our grand entrance hall becomes home to our wonderful Christmas Tree and the gardens, despite hibernating for the winter, provide a beautiful backdrop for the festive season.
